Kate Merrigan

Ms. Kate Merrigan holds an MBA in Management from Fitchburg State University and a Bachelor of Art in American and Gender Studies from Marlboro College. She has also been trained as a Restorative Practices Trainer by the International Institute for Restorative Practices. Ms. Merrigan was recognized as a Berkshire County 40 Under Forty Awardee in 2019 and a Multicultural BRIDGE Cultural Competence Awardee in 2010. She is proud to have played a role in helping young people advocate and plan for the UNiTY Skatepark in North Adams through her previous role as the UNiTY Program Coordinator at the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition. Outside of BART, Ms. Merrgian enjoys volunteering with the New Hampshire Teen Institute and trying to convince people to watch Battlestar Galactica.
