Dr. Joe Huston

Dr. Joe Huston earned his Doctorate of Education degree in Educational Leadership and a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from the University of Central Florida. He also earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University in Miami. Dr. Huston joined BART following a 20-year career in education in the Central Florida region where he served in multiple leadership and instructional roles within both secondary and higher education. Dr. Huston has taught mathematics over the past 20 years at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. Prior to his career in education, Dr. Huston also worked within the construction industry, leading commercial and industrial mechanical projects. He is an avid distance runner and enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and three sons.
