BART Enrollment & Application

BART is currently accepting applications for grades 6-10 for BOTH the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years.

The next lottery for the current school year is Tuesday, November 18 at 12:00 PM (Noon)

1. Application & Enrollment Overview

Welcome to the BART family! We are delighted that you are considering (or continuing) your educational journey with us. BART is committed to providing a rigorous, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Admission to BART for new students is determined by an equitable, public lottery system.

Important Enrollment Deadlines:

  • Current 2025-2026 School Year: The deadline for the next enrollment lottery is Tuesday, November 18 at 12:00 PM (Noon). Applications submitted by this time will be included in the upcoming lottery for the current year. (Future lottery dates will be posted here.)
  • Upcoming 2026-2027 School Year: The application deadline for the main enrollment lottery is Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Noon). You can apply now!

2. Start Your Application

To begin your journey or confirm your returning student's placement, please click the button below. Since the application portal serves both years, you MUST carefully select the correct school year (2025-2026 OR 2026-2027) once you are inside the portal.

  • Click the black button below to create or access your SchoolMint Guardian Account.
  • In your account, you can add, complete, and submit your student's application.
 

Important! How to Select the Correct School Year:

Once you click the application link, you will enter the SchoolMint portal. You must verify that you have selected the correct academic year (2025-2026 or 2026-2027) at the top right corner of the application page to ensure your student is entered into the correct lottery pool.

  • Select 2025-2026: If your student needs to enroll this current year (e.g., if you are applying for a current, mid-year opening).
  • Select 2026-2027: If you are planning for your student to enroll next fall of 2026.
 

3. Eligibility & Policy

Can my child enroll at BART? If your child is eligible to enroll in a district public school in Massachusetts, then they are eligible to enroll at BART.
